Caesonia confronts the agony of loving a man consumed by grief as he descends into tyranny, while standing in the shadow of the woman he mourns. In this reimagining of Albert Camus' Caligula, the play retells the emperor's tragedy through Caesonia's inner struggle, presenting a story of devotion, compassion, madness, and longing.
