Beginners Ceramics are a London-based indie chamber-pop band making wry, funny and heartbreaking songs about love, loss and the 19th-century French realist writer Gustave Flaubert. Blending guitars, ukuleles, vintage organs and mandolins, they craft warm, melodic pop somewhere between The Magnetic Fields, Kings of Convenience and Belle and Sebastian.
